Who We Are

Fred Drake Automotive, formerly Drake's Body Shop and Fred Drake Salvage was founded by Fred Drake, Sr. of Newark, DE. The body shop was located in Wilmington and specialized in large trucks and fleet services. In 1987, he and his son Fred Drake, Jr. opened Fred Drake Salvage in Middletown, DE. After one year in business, they moved to our current address where we have evolved into a multi-faceted auto repair and auto recycling facility. The business is now in it's third generation and is still family owned and operated. Our mission is to make our customers' lives easier by being their one stop for all their automotive needs.
